This rifle has been a pain...was jamming 1-2 rounds per 10 round clip. Ran a Tornado Brush through the bore entry pretty aggressivley, and polished all ammo contacts to a shiny finish. Partner that with some CCI MiniMags and 100 rounds with no errors!

Finished cleaning out the cosmoline...now on to test firing. This carbine has a hell of a kick! 7.62x54r is not for the weak of heart in a carbine! Next steps. Stock refinish, accessories...etc

Initial cleaning. Removing Cosmoline is nasty business...but necessary before test firing. Some sort of combination between Vasoline, oil, ear wax, and tree sap...nasty crap.
