Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is holding a statewide healthy video contest for students in grades 4 through 8 enrolled in an accredited public or private learning institution within the state of Michigan. The contest begins on January 24th, 2012 and ends March 25, 2012 and participants can sign up at http://www.ahealthiermichigan.org/kidcontest Each child will submit an audition video that answers the question, "What would you do to make Michigan healthier? Give us your ideas on how to live a healthy life, starting with you, your family or your classroom." The winner of the contest will get to star as a host of his/her own health eating show on aHealthierMichigan.org. They will also receive a school assembly with Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford.
