Nov 16, 2011 - I think that we are suppose to have some wax in our ears.It is not a good idea trying to get rid of all of it.

Nov 16, 2011 - The earpick I use isn't heavy duty. Its just enough to keep the ear clean and from overflowing with unsightly earwax. You're right that some earwax is necessary. Now that you mention it, I do remember that I had just 'clean' my ear throughly prior to getting the water in it. So that also played a roll in why I had that problem. But I still think the Q-tip itself also played a role.

Nov 16, 2011 - @WynterLioness;I had a problem with my ears years back.To prevent water from building up in my ears after I am finish washing,I just tilt my head from side to side a few times and the water that accumulated in my ears when I was washing comes right on out.I heard that ear candles are good as well so I will try them oneday. And I agree with you----Q-tips aren't the best things to use for cleaning of the ear.

WynterLioness Says:

Nov 16, 2011 - You're right that Q-tips aren't that great. Some boxes even say not to put them in your ear. Plus they are making them out of lighter material that is easer to break. One broke in my neighours ear and she got a fever and had to take meds. Also, tilting my head didn't work since the water formed a bubble.
