A demonstration from http://www.greencomputing.co.za showing off Userful multiplier that allows you to turn a single desktop PC into 10 workstations! Saving you power and IT costs. The solution uses Linux to provide up to 10 workstations that can be used in internet cafes, schools, government, call centres. Each user has their own desktop and access to applications. A management console allows the system administrator to manage the machine remotely, saving time and money!

Jan 8, 2012 - yes it would you're limited by the amount of power given to the one machine, the one workstation is however using linux and ram and processing power aren't necessarily issues

Jan 9, 2012 - yes, the way that linux can handle users, not very skilled in that area but some distros can have as many as 255 users on one account. I'd look up thin clients if you want to learn more.

May 18, 2012 - Only thing is, the all of the non-server window's EULAs say you can only use the OS with one set of peripherals. In other words, only one user logged on (and connected) at a time on an XP-SP2 or higher non-server OS. Is a great idea, but my high school got busted for something similar. Also, when the instructor tells you to use jump drive, make sure you have a backup, some people think it is funny to format other people's drives.

May 25, 2012 - very nice, especially for schools and kids. i would just make sure to add two devices for safety such as an EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE (terabyte), and a 2nd CPU that won't be utilized and serve as a backup. so really, you would spend 2 CPUs, 10 monitors, 10 keyboards, 10 mouses, and 1 external hard drive to service 10 people instead of spending for 10 CPU stations.
. . . . . . . because these video appear directly from youtube.com which we cannot control it.)
