It doesn't matter if it is sadness, happiness, achievement, of missing someone, joy or whatever. And music happens to have a very weird but nevertheless very well documented effect to powerfully affect emotions, causing good, emotionally charged music to make you cry. Not all music is meant to be overwhelmingly emotionally charged though, but this is.
