I'm often asked what I do in between recording and performing, so this vid will pretty much answer that question. I've had a passion for bicycles and have been building them ever since I was a kid. Since 1973, I've always imagined a low-to-the-ground, recumbent-style trike that I someday wanted to build. That dream came true in 2007 when I designed and built trike #1, which I ride regularly throughout the mountains of Japan. The one in this video is trike #3, the F-1 Model, on display at a local sporting goods store. "F-1" is in reference to the Ferrari-like color nuance. When riding one of these trikes in Japan, the reaction is usually one of amazement and "thumbs up!" all the time. So even though I only build them for myself, the positive response led me to continue development with the aim of making them available to those who want high-performance trikes, currently not in production in Japan. With that in mind, I created the T-TRIKES logo and am looking at investment possibilites to start mass-producing these trikes in Japan. My aim to outsource all of the fabrication work to local machine shops and keep the entire building process 100% domestic. This way, I can concentrate on my music career and main business, Tim Donahue Harp Guitars: www.timdonahue.com Developing T-TRIKES is very much a creative process, like music. So I hope my fans will enjoy seeing where my energy goes when I'm away from the recording studio. Special thanks to my friend Korky Fujiwara, who made this video for me one day, out of the blue. While there are some "unique" English phrases thoughout, I really appreciate the time and effort he put into making this. Domo Arigatou Korky!

Feb 7, 2012 - Trike looks good. Some unconventional features. Maybe you can make some more pictures with the trike on the floor. It's kinda hard to see the whole trike with the close-up shots. There are very few photo's on the web.

Mar 1, 2012 - I like the close up representation of the precision work that goes into building this. Very stunning color on very cool trike.
