With over 175 attendees "workin'it," this event had an exciting energy that helped promote business and personal connections. Networkin'it would not have been possible without the sponsorship of Silverton Health. Thank you to Rick Cagen, CEO, and Melinda Veliz, Diversity Community Engagement Director, for making it happen. A thank you is also in order to the Office of the Governor and Frank Garcia, Jr. for partnering with Networkin'it this year. Throughout the evening, hundreds of business cards were shared as well as social media contacts. There was a live twitter feed during the event that stirred up the social media conversation during the speaking presentation. Networkin'it events will continue to promote how important networking, diversity and inclusion are in the community and workforce; they will also incorporate current social media trends into every event.
